Accurate planning and consideration of the regulatory framework are essential to obtaining a permit for development, construction and operation. In particular, issues relating to the protection of the marine environment as well as the safety and ease of navigation is of key interest to the responsible authorities.
Even after having received the necessary permits great efforts are still needed to implement the regulatory requirements during planning, construction and operation. Especially the fulfillment of all permit clauses and the achievement of the construction releases require a high degree of thoroughness, transparency and constructive cooperation between the parties involved such as authorities and non-governmental organizations.
