We offer turn-key project management and intermediate management services for sub-projects or individual project phases.
Floating Offshore Wind

Floating Offshore Substations
ONP Management and Semco Maritime collaborate in the field of floating offshore wind, offering a unique joint service portfolio. Combining Semco's decades of experience with fixed-bottom offshore substations (OSS) and ONP's technical expertise positions us uniquely to support our clients also in identifying and developing the most efficient floating offshore substation (FOSS) solutions. Whether you are preparing for your first floating offshore wind project or scaling up, we are ready to provide expert guidance on developing and implementing the most effective design and execution strategy.
Services:
- Full conceptual and detailed design of FOSS tailored to project size, location, and grid requirements
- Interface management across all disciplines and stakeholders
- Integrated topside and floater design for stability, safety, and reliable performance
- Specification of HV equipment with focus on dynamic loads, grid compliance and interconnection, including dynamic cable systems
- Optimization of electrical equipment to minimize energy losses and capital expenditures (CAPEX), while incorporating robust risk mitigation strategies throughout all project phases
- Assessment and recommendations of the best floater technology
- Collaboration with floater designers and yard fabrication partners to ensure integrated alignment between topside and floater
- Early-phase technical advisory and feasibility studies
- Risk assessments
- Lifecycle planning including operation and maintenance as well as transport and installation
Supply Chain
Semco Maritime and ONP Management bring their combined expertise to support developers navigating the floating offshore wind supply chain. Together, we engage directly with suppliers, technology providers, and marine contractors to assess market readiness, available capacities and critical interfaces. Our integrated approach enables developers to gain a realistic understanding of the supply chain maturity and the associated risks and opportunities for their projects. From early-stage advisory to execution planning, we offer hands-on guidance that de-risks procurement strategies and fosters alignment across the value chain.
Services:
- Conduct technical and commercial assessments of key suppliers
- Evaluate supply chain risks related to delivery timeline and technology readiness
- Facilitate early engagement workshops with key supply chain stakeholders
- Coordinate interface alignment between topside design and selection of floater technologies
- Map global and regional supplier capabilities, including local content potential, and lead times of equipment
- Identification, requirements, selection
- Fit-for-purpose assessments
- Engineering and advisory on port refurbishment and build-out, specifically tailored to Floating Offshore Wind requirements
Dynamic cables
Dynamic cables represent one of the most technically demanding and interface-sensitive components in floating offshore wind systems. Semco Maritime and ONP Management work closely together to advise developers on the best dynamic cable solutions, ensuring they are fully integrated into the topside and hull design. By working hand-in-hand with the cable supply chain we manage the complex interfaces between the topside, hull and cable systems.
Services:
- Topside-hull-cable, integrated design and interface coordination
- Structural and dynamic analysis for the cable arrangements
- Alignment with floater motion and mooring characteristics
- Specifications for dynamic export and inter-array cables
- Collaboration with dynamic cable suppliers as well as maturity assessment of technical development
- Pull-in and termination, integration into the layout of the floating offshore wind farm
Green Hydrogen

ONP Management GmbH is one of four shareholders of NorthH2 Projektgesellschaft (NorthH2), which has set itself the task of project planning and developing plants for the production of green hydrogen on the high seas.
The scope of work of ONP
- Responsible for technical and commercial project management
- Coordination of tasks between the project partners
- Responsible for the development of offshore wind farms
- Development of cost calculation, business case & financial model
2GW Converter Stations

ONP Management supports Lloyd Energy in the planning, development, and realisation of offshore converter stations by providing structured project management and specialized technical expertise. This collaboration ensures that all project phases are carried out in compliance with regulatory requirements, technical standards, and safety obligations — contributing to a transparent, coordinated, and efficient project implementation.
»Environmentally friendly power generation creates benefits not only for the environment.«
The expansion of offshore wind is therefore not in conflict with the protection of the marine environment – on the contrary they go hand in hand.
During the installation of offshore structures, a lot of measures have to be taken to minimize the impact on the marine life. Noise mitigation measures such as bubble curtains or special sleeves around the steel foundations are used to minimize the underwater noise emissions caused by piling works and to comply with the regulatory requirements.
