For the He Dreiht offshore wind project, ONP-Management supported the client EnBW with a multidisciplinary team of experts in the field of offshore installation management and base port management. The scope of work during project preparation, certification and execution phase for the monopile (MP) and transition piece (TP) transport & installation campaign also included noise protection and monitoring, grouting and scour protection.
On April 18th, 2026, the German newspaper WELT published an article highlighting the growing challenges facing the offshore wind industry as turbines, foundations, vessels and port infrastructures reach unprecedented dimensions. Using Germany's largest offshore wind farm "He Dreiht" -currently under construction by EnBW- as key reference, the article examines how physical, logistical and infrastructural limits are increasingly shaping project execution, and why integrated installation concepts, early planning and experienced partners are becoming decisive success factors for the next generation of offshore wind projects.
