Privacy settings
To ensure the demand-oriented design of our websites, we use the web analysis tool "Matomo." Unlike comparable providers, the data is hosted by us on our own servers, meaning that no data is transmitted to third parties.
Nature and Scope of Processing: Matomo creates user profiles based on fingerprints (digital browser fingerprints). This involves processing information such as browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and the masked (shortened) IP address. This data is combined in a way that allows us to recognize returning visitors without identifying them personally.
Legal Basis: This data processing is carried out on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, provided you have granted this via our cookie banner (consent management system).
Withdrawal of Consent: You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by adjusting the settings in our consent banner or by activating the "Do Not Track" settings in your browser.
Storage Period: The information generated by the fingerprint will be deleted or anonymized after a defined period of 24 months.
