Hamburg/Tokyo. In close cooperation with ClassNK ONP advised a Japanese EPCI-Contractor on technical and commercial aspects for developing an Offshore Wind Farm in the Japanese open sea area. During preparation of bidding documents for Japan`s first public auction, the advisors of ONP executed a due diligence (DD) of the existing concept and provided their advice and expertise, providing insights into latest industry standards and construction techniques from current developments in Europe and Taiwan.

A stringent and efficient know-how-transfer was made possible with support from our colleagues at ClassNK. In times of Covid-19 regular online-conferences were conducted, which focused on individual review-topics of the DD-process. ONP’s findings, suggestions and additional input were presented and discussed, enabling our client to draw valuable conclusions and flag areas which needed further attention.
