Foundation Installation OWF HeDreiht (GER)

For the HeDreiht offshore wind project, ONP-Management supported the client EnBW with a multidisciplinary team of experts in the field of offshore installation management and base port management. The scope of work during project preparation, certification and execution phase for the monopile (MP) & TP transport & installation campaign included also noise protection and monitoring, grouting and scour protection.

Planning & Organization of Offshore Installation

• Planning and coordination of the MP/TP installation in close cooperation with the installation contractor (Heerema), project management and package managers. 
• Review and optimization of the installation processes / method statements / risk assessment as well as the offshore installation manual - including ad-hoc solutions.
• Organization and tracking of the construction progress of the installation contractor onshore/offshore. 
• Review of Emergency Response Plans.

Technical inspections & quality management

• On-hire survey of all barges, tugs and the installation vessel (THIALF).
• Organization and execution of inspections of the components before and after installation.
• Quality management in TP construction in Newcastle, including detection and documentation of workmanship defects and paint damage.
• Modification and adaptation of the TP Installation Manufacturing Plan.
• Quality control during all port and production processes.

Base Port Management & Port Logistics

• Base port site management during the foundation installation campaign.
• Supervision of the construction of MP laydown, TP resting positions and crane runways.
• Management and monitoring of load-in and load-out processes.
• Troubleshooting during TP load-in.
• Daily performance analysis and reporting.
• Organization and implementation of the Weekly Lessons Learned Meeting.
• Review and evaluation of the HSE & Rescue Plan of the Base Port in Eemshaven.

Ensuring site operations 24/7 included supervision of all planned and executed operations on-site incl. documentation and reporting on daily site activities and project performance.
